“In my opinion, the Aquademica Foundation has two major advantages. The first one
refers to the good practices, already experienced, verified and ackno.wledged due to the
experience of our partners from Munich. We all agree to that it is better to learn to apply
the strategies which proved to be successful, assisted by those who had already passed
these stages. The second strong point is the existence of the pilot stations, on which
existing techno.logies can be simulated in order to be optimized, or new techno.logies in
order of a future implementation.”
Information on courses
Courses and workshops
The courses and workshops of the Aquademica foundation include theoretical support as
well as practical simulations on the pilot station. The transfer of the German know-how
is done directly by the German specialists or by using the multipliers. The activities of the
foundation can take place in any location of Romania and will be scheduled and organized
in accordance with the trainees' needs and availability of the lecturer.

Mobile laboratory for pipe inspection
Aquademica will soon benefit of a donation from Munich’s Waste water Department, which consists of a mobile laboratory with CCTV (closed-circuit television). It contains a robot that will inspect the inner side of the sewerage, as well as the necessary equipment for video registration, all placed in a minibus. This technology allows studies upon the state of the waste water sewerage in Timisoara. This laboratory can also be used for didactic/training purposes. That is why, in April, a team from Aquatim SA was sent to Munich to be trained in using such equipment.
German Standards for public water supply and sanitation
The DWA (German Association for Water, Waste water and Waste) offers to the specialist
in the field, a site where German rules and standards, translated into English, can be bought.
